If you're planning to see the National Mall fireworks Saturday, pack patience — and little else — because security will be TSA-level tight.
- The good news? The rest of the city is packed with neighborhood parades, waterfront parties, museum openings and crab feasts that don't require spending hours in security lines.
Plus, over 325 D.C. bars, restaurants and nightclubs can serve alcohol until 4am through the July Fourth weekend — it's going to be a citywide party.
