Mubadala DC Open 2026 lineup drops with Grand Slam champs

The Mubadala DC Open — formerly known as the Citi Open — is bringing Grand Slam tennis champs back to D.C. this summer.

Why it matters: The tourney has sold out every session since 2019, and 75% of this year's tickets are already claimed, a spokesperson tells Axios.

And single-session tix go on sale Friday at 9am.

State of play: Some of the players have been announced for the event, which will run July 25 to Aug. 2 at Rock Creek Park.

Expect to see: Hometown legend Frances Tiafoe, seven-time Grand Slam champ Venus Williams, 2024 U.S. Open finalist Taylor Fritz, defending DC Open champ Alex de Minaur, 2021 U.S. Open champion Emma Raducanu, and six-time Grand Slam semifinalist Stefanos Tsitsipas.
