Move over, cherry blossoms: Tulips are taking over the Mall this spring.
- D.C.'s first-ever Tulip Day (March 15) will transform the Mall into a pop-up picking garden bursting with 150,000 blooms.
🌷How it works: Visitors can pick up to 10 tulips free.
- Free tickets are live (limited availability — snag 'em ASAP).
The big picture: The garden will feature a "250" floral design to mark America's birthday, in collaboration with the Dutch and European Union.
- With cherry blossoms expected to peak later this year, Tulip Day could be D.C.'s first full bloom moment of 2026.
