Hard to believe, we know, but a new Climate Central analysis suggests winters are getting shorter in most U.S. cities amid climate change.
Driving the news: Compared to a couple generations ago, D.C. winters are now three days shorter, the climate research group found.
Friction point: We've been freezing since ... we can't remember.
How it works: The analysis is based on temperatures, not calendar dates.
The other side: We're not ones to deny data or science, but hey, it may snow again soon — making this the longest shortened winter ever.
