A new way to unwind is coming to Georgetown: RM Balance, a boutique wellness studio, opens next month.
Why it matters: The zen-forward spot focuses on small-group classes that blend yoga, pilates, meditation and bodywork.
The details: This is the second Georgetown studio from Regina McLinden, founder of RM Wellness.
- Classes cap at 6–10 people, prioritizing personal attention, mobility adaptations and relaxation.
- Offerings include eight yoga styles, mat pilates, sound baths and meditation, plus private sessions for individuals and groups.
What's different: Think extended Savasanas with optional bodywork, red light therapy during select classes, "yogic sleep" sessions designed for deep rest, and sound baths crafted by a "resident sound healer."
- Classes are spaced out so attendees can linger for tea, complimentary snacks or extras like lymphatic vibration plates and acupressure mats.
- No mat rolling or equipment cleanup required — the studio handles it all.
