D.C. bars and restaurants are rolling out their snow day food and drink specials before the first flakes fall.
Why it matters: An epic storm calls for hot cocktails and comforting eats — all easy on the wallet.
PSA: Bars and restaurants may close or change their hours due to weather conditions. And also extend deals.

What's happening: Hot cocktails, all-day happy hours, takeout deals and snow-day parties are popping up citywide.
🍻 Starts Friday
The Commodore (Dupont Circle): Fri–Mon. All-day happy hour with $10 hot cocktails (Irish coffees, toddies, mulled wine).
Carmine's (Penn Quarter): Fri–Mon. All-day happy hour with $5–$10 food (parm sliders, garlic bread, calamari).
- Bonus: 25% off direct takeout and delivery.
Cork Wine Bar (14th Street, Cleveland Park): Fri–Sat. Stock-up sale: 10% off six-packs, 15% off cases.
El Tamarindo (Adams Morgan): Group-friendly "storm kits" ($49): Six pupusas or tamales, two sides and a 32-ounce agua fresca. Pickup or delivery.

Anju (Dupont Circle): Chef Angel Barreto serves $10 "Korean flower crab soup," a comforting brew with zucchini, onions, mushrooms, flower crab and fish cake, plus complimentary tea. Sat. only
The Roost (Capitol Hill): Family-friendly snow party with free cocoa, $10 toddies, $5 beers, $3 kids' hot drinks, plus free movies and art supplies. Sat. only
The Sovereign (Georgetown): $15 French onion soup and Belgian beer combo. Sat. only
Bluejacket (Navy Yard): All-day deals: $10 beer liters, half-price wings, $10 grilled cheese and toddies. Sat. only
Duke's Grocery (D.C. and Potomac): Sat–Mon. $8 hot cocktails and espresso martinis (also at Gogi Yogi and Problem Child).
McClellan's Retreat (Kalorama): Sat–Mon. $12 hot cocktails like boozy cocoa and cider.

The Muni (Logan Circle): Starts Sunday: $5 drafts and beer/hard seltzer buckets ($25–$35).
- Monday (1pm): Snow-day party with 50% off golf sims and darts, $5 drafts, $3 hot dogs, more.
Taco Bamba (DMV locations): Sun–Mon. All-day Mexican happy hour — $6–$9 margaritas and cervezas, $6–$9.50 nachos and flautas.
