Winter Restaurant Week is here — and brunch is where the real deals live.
Why it matters: Lunch and brunch are the best Restaurant Week values — usually three courses for $25 or $35, aka barely more than a fast-casual bowl and a Spindrift these days (dinners run $40-$65).
Between the lines: Alexandria Restaurant Week starts Friday (through Feb. 1).
🧇 Anna's top brunch and lunch picks:
All Purpose (Shaw)
- Italian-American comfort hits for $35 — pizzas included. Bottomless brunch cocktails: just $10. Extended through Feb. 1.
Ama (Navy Yard)
- Chef Joanna Hellrigl's seasonal Italian brunch ($35) balances indulgent and wholesome, with two creative drinks (boozy or zero-proof) and ingredient-driven dishes.
Amparo Fondita (Dupont Circle)
- Upscale Mexican brunch ($35) with tasty huevos rancheros and splurge-worthy agave pairing.
Casa Teresa (Downtown)
- Chef Rubén García's open-fire Spanish cooking ($35) shines — and the drink specials won't wreck your budget.
Lulu's Wine Garden (U Street)
- A rare $25 brunch deal at the Southwestern spot — and it includes a brunch cocktail.

Mallard (Logan Circle)
- Channel snow-day vibes with a comforting Southern brunch ($35) and $9 mimosas, classic or N/A.
Osteria Morini (Navy Yard)
- Peak carb joy: pancakes, pasta and more for $35. (Don't sleep on the excellent $40 dinner, either).
Fiola Mare and Del Mar
- Scene-y waterfront favorites offering rare Restaurant Week value at $35 — especially when one app usually costs that much.
Love, Makoto (East End)
- An omakase ($35) lunch is offered weekdays and Saturday, with creative nigiri and crave-able handrolls. Extended through Feb.1
Vermillion (Alexandria)
At $25, the refined New American brunch menu looks like a tasty steal. Extended through Feb. 1
