State of play: Here are three trees worthy of a visit.

🎄 U.S. Capitol: This year's pick is named "Silver Belle," and the 53-foot-tall fir is the first to come from Nevada's Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest.

• It's now on the Capitol's West Front Lawn after its almost 3,000-mile journey. You can visit for free through early January.

🎄 Union Station: Head to the train station's main hall to see the tree decorated by the Norwegian Embassy, a longstanding tradition symbolizing Norway's appreciation for the U.S.'s help during World War II.

• This year's tree is a big boy, clocking in at around 40 feet and decorated with tiny Norwegian and U.S. flags. Catch it through December.

🎄 CityCenter: If you're downtown, swing through the bougie shopping area to check out its 75-foot-tall, sparkly tree — accompanied by two 25-foot-tall reindeer friends, of course.

• Another good photo opp: Hit up CityCenter on the weekends through Christmas to immerse yourself in its Snow Days event series, with faux flurries and holiday tunes.
