The search is over: Google opens its first D.C. retail store in Georgetown today.
Why it matters: You can browse and test-drive Google's latest tech toys.
Zoom in: The shop — Google's ninth — is similar to an Apple store. The sleek showroom has Pixel phones, watches, tablets, Nest products, Fitbit trackers and more.
There are also lots of hands-on experiences with AI tech, including chances to play with Gemini Live and Magic Cue on Pixel devices, and art-video generation via Veo.

The store also offers one-on-one appointments for repairs, shopping and set-ups.
What's next: Free events and workshops start soon. The first, "Grow with Google" (Dec. 14), helps with tools and SEO training for boosting your business presence online.
Others include Pixel photo or video "walks" with in-store experts, Pixel Watch workouts and coding classes.
