⛸️ National Gallery Sculpture Garden: The D.C. classic is back for another season and is open downtown through March 1. Skating lessons and group event bookings available, too. (Skating sessions $15 for ages 13+ and $12 for kids; $7 skate rental)

⛸️ The Wharf: Skate along the pier outside the Anthem through Feb. 22, and swing by one of the nearby restaurants or bars for a warm treat afterwards. ($20 ages 12+ and $15 for kids; $5 skate rental)

⛸️ Washington Harbour: Take in views of the Potomac and Key Bridge as you glide around this Georgetown waterfront rink, open through March 1. Private rink rentals available, too. ($11 ages 13+ and $9 kids; $7 skate rental)

⛸️ Westpost Outdoor Ice Skating: Head to Arlington's Pentagon Row shopping area for ice skating through March — or sign up for lessons. Reservations open two weeks in advance and are recommended. ($12 ages 13+ with reservation and $11 kids; $6 skate rental)

⛸️ Rockville Town Square: Marylanders can come here to get their glide on or sign up for group or private classes. Reservations encouraged. ($12 ages 13+ and $11 kids; $6 skate rental)
