Your D.C. weekend: the Spirit's shot at a championship, Wale and more

The Washington Spirit are D.C.'s playoff team, and they're one win away from the National Women's Soccer League Championship final match.

Why it matters: Resale tickets are still available for the sold-out semi-final match at Audi Field on Saturday.

State of play: Ticketmaster prices started at $135, as of late Thursday afternoon, and were as high as $600+.

The action kicks off at noon against Portland Thorns FC. Spirit fans are encouraged to dress in yellow.

Catch up quick: The team advanced after a nailbiter quarterfinal, beating Racing Louisville in penalty kicks.

Captaining the Spirit is Aubrey Kingsbury, the 33-year-old goalie who saved two penalty shots last week.

The big picture: The Spirit are trying to return to the finals for the second season running, after last year's championship match ended in disappointment.

If you go: Fans can join the Spirit Tailgate at Sandlot Bar outside the gates. Matchgoers will get a Washington Spirit poster and a Spirit playoff rally towel saying, "Let's Get Rowdy."

🎪 Cirque Italia is a traveling circus stopping in National Harbor, bringing a water themed spectacle through Monday. Adult tickets start at about $30; half price for young children. Cirque Italia
