Zoom in: The land is owned by the Babu Stephen Trust, which purchased the property in 2023 for $3.8 million, according to Fairfax County property records.

• A Spring Valley mailing address is listed for the trust.

The intrigue: It's unclear who'll be moving into said mega digs.

• The Building Group and James McDonald Associate Architects are leading the project.

The Building Group president Mike Mafi did not respond to Axios' request for more information about the project.
