The big picture: Andrew Florance, the president and CEO of commercial real estate firm CoStar Group, topped a list compiled by the Washington Business Journal.
His comp is salary ($1M) + stock awards ($30.34M) + other add-ons.

Zoom in: The biggest pay cut (if you even want to call it that) among the top 10 earners went to Harvey Schwartz of Carlyle Group, the private equity firm of David Rubenstein fame. His comp went down 84% to $29.59 million.
Biggest pay raise: 1,594%. Peter Chapman, who transitioned out of the CEO role at quantum computing company IonQ earlier this year. He made $22.68 million in 2024, which included a $10 million bonus.
