Over 70,000 protestors are expected to rally nationwide tomorrow, International Workers' Day, against President Trump's "war on working people."
Why it matters: Protests against the Trump administration have built in size and momentum as he faces sinking approval ratings, and Americans increasingly witness the ramifications of his policies.
Thursday's events will include rallies, marches, town halls and other actions against the "billionaire takeover" of the federal government.
Zoom in: Several actions are planned around D.C., including a "May Day Movement USA" rally on the National Mall starting at 10am, a 5pm rally at Freedom Plaza, and more in Virginia and Maryland.
What we're watching: Separately, a coalition of organizers and advocates will "shut down the streets of Washington, D.C." this morning in protest of Trump's first 100 days in office.
