Kristi Noem's purse snatched at fancy D.C. burger spot

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem had her purse stolen from a D.C. restaurant, DHS officials confirmed in a media statement Monday.

State of play: The Homeland Security secretary's bag was snatched from near her feet at Shaw's Capital Burger restaurant on Sunday night, per CBS News.

It contained Noem's driver's license and passport, DHS access badge, checks, medicine, makeup and roughly $3,000 in cash.
Members of Noem's 24/7 Secret Service detail reportedly didn't see the crime. Camera footage later revealed an unknown white male in a medical mask taking the bag.

Multiple agencies are investigating.
