Finding cash in your purse is so yesterday — it's all about finding cash via a new D.C.-wide scavenger hunt happening over Instagram.
The big picture: Washingtonian Andrew Freeman runs the Instagram account Capital Collectors where, a few times a week, he posts a video of himself hiding about $50 near a landmark like the National Zoo or Nats Park.
And then the games begin: Whichever follower gets there first gets to keep the moolah.
But you gotta book it: Over 50,000 people follow the account.
