D.C. happy hours are cheap again

State of play: A bunch of bars recently launched deals $10 and under, and as low as $1! It's giving early 2000s vibes, maybe because it's starting to feel a little 2008-y around here.

What's new

🍷 Osteria Morini (Navy Yard): A "7 'til 7" deal includes $7 wines, beers, spirits and classic cocktails like martinis or margs at the bar (Mon-Fri, 3-7pm).

🍸 Madhatter (Dupont Circle): Cap off the week with $5 martini Fridays (4-8pm), plus uber-cheap $1 Miller mugs on Thursdays.

🌮 Amparo Fondita (Dupont Circle): The upscale Mexican spot starts happy hour March 25 with $9 tequila and mezcal cocktails, $5 tacos on handmade tortillas, and some tasty Oaxacan bug snacks.

🍔 Dacha (Shaw, Navy Yard) pours $5 weekend brunch cocktails (11am-1pm) and vodka drinks all day Sunday in the outdoor beer gardens, plus $10 "bites" that include meals like burgers and shakshuka.
