Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank lists Maryland horse estate for $22 million

Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank has listed his 400-acre Baltimore County estate for $22 million, per the real estate group Compass.
The big picture: Sagamore Farm in Reisterstown, Maryland, has an almost 16,000-square-foot main house, with six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, plus a gym, library and conference room, per the listing.
- The grounds are also outfitted for breeding, training and racing horses, with a track, multiple barns and housing for a general manager, jockeys and staff.
- There are also rye fields, which Plank used to grow rye for the whiskey company Sagamore Spirit, which he founded.
Plank purchased the property in 2007, and told the Wall Street Journal that he spent around $22 million on the land and renovations.
Fun fact: The Vanderbilt family once owned Sagamore Farm, and Plank commissioned a mural of the family's racehorse, Native Dancer, in the home.
What we're watching: How long the equestrian estate sits on the market — it took two years for Plank to offload his Georgetown home, which he finally did in 2020 after reducing the price over 40% to just north of $17 million.
