Exclusive: Silver and Sons BBQ opens first brick-and-mortar in Bethesda next week

Dig in: The Bethesda native fuses his Jewish upbringing with Mediterranean cooking expertise (Mike Isabella Concepts, Birch & Barley) for the menu of snacks, wood-smoked meats, and sides.

• What began as a pandemic project flourished into roadside eats, a catering business, and now, a cozy little restaurant — designed for takeout/delivery, but with six, soon-to-be-coveted counter spaces.

🥪 What's new: Truck favorites like pulled lamb and pastrami-spiced short rib or mushrooms are always here, plus sides like lemon-schmaltz potatoes and harissa-roasted carrots.

• The new space boasts a sandwich counter for brisket steak-and-cheese, loaded falafel sandwiches, and pastrami Reubens on homemade sourdough-rye.
• Also, there's a deli and freezer case for ready-heat meals like matzo ball soup, chicken pot pie, and take-and-bake rugelach dough.
