1. 🎙️ Catch a show
The city is buzzing with musicals, concerts and live shows this weekend. Here are five to check out:
🎤 Watch rap artist Lupe Fiasco, 8pm Saturday at Howard Theatre. Tickets start at $60.
👭 Enjoy "Summer, 1976" performed by D.C. locals, now through Dec. 22 at the Studio Theatre in Logan Circle. Tickets start at $67.
🎄 Get in the holiday spirit with "A Christmas Carol," Sunday through Dec. 31 at Ford's Theatre. Tickets start at $49.
🎭 "Macbeth," a Shakespeare opera, is showing now through Nov. 23 at the Washington National Opera at The Kennedy Center. Tickers start at $45.
👑 Enjoy pop musical "Six" about Henry VIII and his six wives, now through Dec. 1 at the National Theatre. Ticket prices vary.
2. 🖼️ Umbrella Art Fair

3. 🍪 Dessert Festival
- Enjoy food trucks, music, games, raffles, and over 100 sweet treats, 11am-4pm Saturday and Sunday at 1360 Okie St. NE. Free.
4. 🎁 ICE!
- Visit a Charlie Brown Christmas-themed attraction with lights, ice sculptures, slides and more, now through Dec. 28 at the Gaylord National at National Harbor. View tickets and deals here.
5. 🛍️ Holiday Market
- Shop over 35 artisan vendors, enjoy crafts, a tree lighting, caroling, wine and more, noon-5pm Saturday at The Parks at Walter Reed. Free.
6. 🎨 Sounds of Us
- Enjoy a music and art festival featuring 40 commissioned pieces, 1pm Saturday at The Kennedy Center. Free.
7. 🤘 DC Punk Rock Flea
- Shop over 50 vendors featuring art, clothes, vintage items, vinyl and more, noon-5pm Saturday at St. Stephen and the Incarnation Episcopal Church in Columbia Heights. Free.
8. 🇯🇵 The Print Generation
- View a new exhibit of Japanese print art, 10am-5:30pm Saturday through April 27 at the National Museum of Asian Art. Free.
9. 🔊 Riddim and Poetry Hip Hop Experience
- Browse art exhibits, take an art or dance class and more, 2-8pm Saturday at Hook Hall in Park View. Tickets are $20.
