This weekend in D.C., check out Bourbon and Bluegrass at President Lincoln's Cottage, Tacos and Tequila at Nationals Park and the Fiesta Asia Street Fair on Capitol Hill.

1. 🥃 Sip and support

Listen to live music from six indie, folk and Americana artists and sip cocktails at Bourbon and Bluegrass.

Why it matters: This is the largest annual fundraiser to protect President Lincoln's Cottage, an independently run historic site that receives no federal operating support.

Catch up quick: The cottage was Lincoln's home away from home, where he wrote parts of the Emancipation Proclamation.

If you go: The event is 1–5pm Saturday and Sunday, and tours of the cottage are available. Adult admission with drinks starts at $70. View all ticket pricing here.

  • Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets.

Stop by: A "Log Cabin Jam Session" will take place in front of the cottage at 12:15pm. Guests are invited to bring their own instruments to jam out with local fiddler Will Sears of Goldbug Revival.

2. 🌮 Tacos and Tequila
