DMV Black Restaurant Week returns: What to know

Zoom out: This is one of two restaurant weeks celebrating Black foodways and businesses in D.C. Greater Washington DC Black Restaurant Week, part of a national campaign, was in July.

How it works: Restaurants across the DMV participate (though there aren't set offerings across the board). In D.C., diners can look up participating restaurants by ward.

What's new: The organizers are creating an updated directory of brick-and-mortar restaurants, bars, and hospitality businesses owned by Black professionals. They're asking the public to contribute information as they dine out.
