Calling all fashionistas: The Minneapolis Institute of Art's new exhibition is sure to inspire your fall wardrobe.
What's happening: Sunday marks the debut of "Paris Couture," a showcase of more than 80 works of haute couture from Paris fashion museum Palais Galliera.
- The exhibition spans nearly 150 years of fashion history and features designers like Christian Dior, Elsa Schiaparelli and Cristóbal Balenciaga.
What to expect: Luxurious, detailed pieces from nearly every decade since the late 1800s, including many that have not been displayed outside of their original debuts.
- "Couture is about much more than clothing — it's about ideas, craftsmanship, imagination, and the extraordinary possibilities of making something by hand for the human body," curator Max Bryant said.
Audrey's thought bubble: If you've ever enjoyed swiping through gorgeous (and outrageous) Met Gala outfits, you're going to love this one.
📍 Details: "Paris Couture" runs Oct. 4-Jan. 17, with a preview party on Saturday.
- Tickets are $20 for nonmembers; preview party access is $150.
