The Julius Randle experience in Minnesota is over after two seasons.
Driving the news: The Wolves are trading Randle and the 28th pick in tonight's draft to Brooklyn in exchange for the 33rd pick, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
Between the lines: The trade amounts to a salary dump that allowed the Wolves more room to sign guard Ayo Dosunmu to a 5-year contract. It will also give them flexibility make additional moves, Charania reported.
Flashback: Randle was excellent in the Wolves' 2025 run to the Western Conference Finals, but had a difficult series against the San Antonio Spurs this postseason.
What we're watching: Whether there are more big moves coming.
