Easter is on Sunday, and if you're looking to branch out from your neighborhood's egg hunt, we know where to go.
- Here are six unique Easter activities for all ages โ and several species.
๐ "Hatch" an Easter egg at St. Paul reptile shop Snake Discovery this Saturday. Kids can decorate their own "snake eggs" at the store, then incubate them at home until a tiny, 3D-printed baby snake emerges. Free
๐ฅฆ Skip the sweets at Saturday's Spring Eggless Hunt, a family-friendly gathering for vegans. Kids can search for empty plastic eggs throughout Minnehaha Falls Regional Park and exchange them for a bag of vegan treats; BYOB (bring your own basket). Free
๐ถ Take your furbaby to Plymouth on Saturday for Brew Park's annual Easter Dog Toy Hunt. Each dog will be let loose into a designated area filled with toys โ and if your pup pees on it, it's theirs. $20, includes admission to dog park
๐ฐ Explore historical venues at the classic James J. Hill House hunts on Saturday ($8) and American Swedish Institute's Easter at the Castle hunts Sunday ($20, waitlist only).
