"Run where no one has run before" at a unique 5K this Saturday β inside the St. Paul skyways.
What's happening: Organizers received approval to host a first-of-its-kind run through the climate-controlled maze in downtown St. Paul.
- The track starts and ends at Union Depot, with heats spaced out to keep the corridors from getting too crowded. It stretches as far as Treasure Island Center & TRIA Rink.
- Over 800 people have already signed up, per organizers, and viewing areas are available for spectators to cheer them on.
Details: Online registration is available through Saturday morning; beginners and experienced runners welcome. The first heat begins at 9am. $52.

- Participants are asked to raise at least $600 per team. Visitors can watch for free.
π Support local bookstores and immigrant rights organizations at Authors for Minnesota Day this Saturday. More than 50 local authors will autograph books at 24 independent shops across the state.

πΆ Watch stylish pups strut their stuff at a dog fashion show Saturday night in Minneapolis. Plenty of dogs will be on-site for those interested in adopting, and a portion of ticket sales will go to a local rescue organization. $30
