The CPKC Holiday Train is headed our way, bringing live music and support for local food shelves all weekend long.
Driving the news: The decorated train that travels across the U.S. and Canada each holiday season will make its first Twin Cities stop at Union Depot at 7pm Saturday.
- On Sunday, it's stationed in Golden Valley at 5pm, St. Louis Park at 6:15pm and Northeast Minneapolis at 8:15pm.
How it works: Each stop lasts around 30 minutes and features live music performed from the decorated boxcars. It's free to attend, but visitors are encouraged to bring food or monetary donations for the stop's partnering food bank.
- Note: Unfortunately, you cannot board the train.
