Fill your empty walls with works by the Twin Cities' up-and-coming artists at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design's annual Art Sale, a chance to shop thousands of original pieces by students and alums at a variety of price points.
How it works: The first chance to shop is at the benefit fundraiser Thursday night ($175), or get another early look at Friday's Social Night featuring drinks, a DJ and mingling ($30). Tickets are only available at the door.
- If you can hold off, admission is free on Saturday's Community Day from 10am-3pm β but expect crowds.
- See a preview of the available work via MCAD.
π If you go: 2501 Stevens Ave., Minneapolis. Thursday and Friday 6-9pm, Saturday 10am-3pm.
- Pro tip: Street parking is limited and the nearby garage can fill up fast, but the 11 and 18 bus lines run frequently and will get you within a few blocks.
