Three-quarters of Minneapolis residents say they're happy living in the city — one of the best rates in the U.S.

How it works: Design and architecture firm Gensler surveyed about 13,500 residents across 27 major U.S cities between July and November 2024, writes Axios' Alex Fitzpatrick.
Zoom in: Minneapolis had the highest number of residents who said they were unlikely or very unlikely to move.
- The city also got high marks for its economy and climate preparedness.
Of note: St. Paul was not included in the survey.
Yes, but: Minneapolis ranks only ninth out of 27 when it comes to how much young adults want to stay here.
- That's not just a survey result when it comes to statewide trends. The Minnesota demographer says we're losing more young people than we gain.
