If the Vikings don't beat the Chicago Bears on Sunday, what little hope they have of making the playoffs will all but disappear.
By the numbers:The Vikes (4-5) have an 11% chance of making the postseason, according to The Athletic's simulator. A loss on Sunday drops that number to 4%.
Beating Chicago (6-3), which is likely to be in the mix for one of the last playoff spots, would improve their chances to 15%.
What we're watching: The matchup features two quarterbacks drafted in the first round in 2024.
J.J. McCarthyled a furious fourth quarter comeback to beat Caleb Williams in week 1.
But Williams has improved significantly this season, while McCarthy has been injured and struggled with accuracy and consistency.
Details: Noon kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium on Fox.
