Restaurant roundup: Daniel del Prado heads to Edina, University of Minnesota's new Palestinian cafe

Daniel del Prado is opening a French brasserie in the former Lynhall space on 50th and France next month, per a release.

Thérèse, named after del Prado's mother, will serve classic French fare alongside a beverage program that lets guests order fine and specialty wines by the glass, instead of requiring purchase of a full bottle.

🇹🇭 Seward's Thai and sushi spot Soberfish is closing Nov. 16 after 11 years in operation, per its social media. Owners did not give a reason for the closure.

:flag-sv: Sip of Silk, a Palestinian and Salvadoran coffee shop near the University of Minnesota, will host soft openings today through Saturday.

Expect specialty drinks like Salvadoran horchata, pistachio lattes and cold brew naturally sweetened with dates.

🌮 "Fancy" Taco Bells are coming to Lakeville and Rochester in late 2026 or early 2027, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reports.

The fast-food chain will roll out two Kitchen X models, which have a more modern design and are built for high volume, efficiency and speed.
