All-day gluten-free cafe Brim heads southwest

• The breakfast menu is largely savory with options like hash brown bowls and omelettes, while the lunch and dinner fare focuses on sandwiches and veggie-heavy bowls.
• As many ingredients as possible are organic and sourced from local farmers.

My thought bubble: While the coffee was unfortunately a miss — my $8 brown butter sea salt latte was quite heavy on the salt — the brunch bowl was fabulous. You can really taste the quality, and I would buy a bottle of the accompanying chipotle crema if I could.

• But the premium ingredients come at a cost. After tax, almost all menu items are between $20-$30 — and smoothies get as high as $16.
