This week's end-of-year press conference with Twins president Derek Falvey didn't inspire hope for a competitive 2026 team.
Why it matters: If the Pohlads want to fill the Target Field stands again, they could look at how the woeful Colorado Rockies have managed to pack Coors Field.
Despite one of the worst records in baseball history (43-119), the Rockies averaged 8,000 more fans a game than the Twins this year.
Between the lines: The Denver ballpark offers $3 drafts of Coors and Coors Light (12 oz.) or $6 craft brews (16 oz.) before games.
State of play: The Twins have a handful of stands that sell 12-ounce cans of Bud and Bud Light for $6.
They'll need to do better than that to bring the fans back.
