After 10 (!!!) years of planning, officials finally broke ground on a new Southdale Library on Edina's York Avenue.
Why it matters: This $106.8 million project will not only replace what had been a 54-year-old library, it also includes a new Edina Art Center that will pay rent.
Zoom in: The plan also features studio spaces and a trailhead connecting to the Nine Mile Creek Trail.
- Expect a fall 2027 opening.
