Tips for Vikings fans headed to Dublin

As Minnesotans head to the Emerald Isle for the first NFL game ever in Dublin on Sunday, the streets should be flooded with Viking purple and Pittsburgh Steeler gold.

📚 Trinity College library: The tour of a library — yes, a library — is jaw dropping, said Susan C.

🐟 Howth: You can take a 25-minute train ride to this peninsula village where there are cliff hikes, boat rides and plenty of seafood restaurants, noted Steve K.

Nick is going to take a 10-mile bike route.

🍺 Guinness tours are nearly sold out on Friday and Saturday (what did you expect with a bunch of people from Pittsburgh and Minnesota?). So do as reader Marc F. recommended — venture outside the touristy areas, find a pub with live music and hang with the locals.

🏰 Kilmainham Gaol: A former prison built in 1786. Tours are sold out, but cancelled tickets are released daily between 9:15-9:30am.
