"Get Baja Blasted" this Saturday at an event made for stomachs of steel: the Taco Bell Century, where cyclists bike over 100 miles fueled only by Taco Bell.
Dig in: The 102-mile loop kicks off at 8:30am (likely with a Cinnabon) at the Quarry location in Minneapolis, then winds around the metro with stops at 10 (!!!!) additional Taco Bells.
- Anyone is welcome to join in on the fun, and eating at every stop is not required, organizers said. Riders go at their own pace.
The other side: Those in search of a healthier option can try the Tour des Jardins from 8am-7pm Saturday: a social bike ride to seven community gardens and urban farms around St. Paul.
- Instead of Taco Bell, each stop will have an appetizer or beverage using produce from its garden.
More things to do ...
