Wolves' conference finals return is the latest success of the Ant era

Last night's Wolves win over the Golden State Warriors marked the first time the franchise has closed out a playoff series at home since 2004, when Kevin Garnett & Co. beat Sacramento in a Game 7.

Why it matters: They're going to the Western Conference Finals for the second year in a row!

By the numbers: It's been a remarkable run for the Wolves since drafting Anthony Edwards in 2020.

Edwards has now won 20 playoff games in five seasons. The Wolves had just 18 wins in their 31 years before Ant.
The Wolves with Ant have won four playoff series. The franchise won just two series prior — both in 2004.

What we're watching: Who wins the Denver Nuggets-Oklahoma City Thunder series. OKC leads 3-2, with Game 6 scheduled for Thursday night.

The Wolves have beat the Nuggets six straight games dating back to last year's playoffs.
They split the season series with the Thunder, 2-2.
