Bargain Bites: Breakfast from Hey Bear!

Audrey here! While visiting the Smallest Museum in St. Paul last week, I stumbled upon one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had — and it was a whopping $8, tax included.

Dig in: Hey Bear! Cafe is a breakfast and lunch spot just a block from University Avenue that serves a variety of sandwiches, bowls and burritos, all for $11 or less.

The aforementioned breakfast sandwich features house-made sausage, American cheese and a soft egg bite on a homemade flaky biscuit.
Lunch options include a Cuban with housemade mojo pork ($10), a vegetarian Reuben made with beets ($9) and three "simple sandwiches" for just five bucks.

Of note: It's primarily a takeout spot, so indoor seating (especially for groups) is limited.
