Twins phenom is top prospect in a decade

Walker Jenkins could be the next household name for the Twins.

State of play: The 19-year-old outfielder from North Carolina is the highest ranked Twins prospect since Byron Buxton in 2015.

• In rankings released in the last week, The Athletic's Keith Law rated him No. 4, MLB.com marked him No. 3 and Baseball America had him at No. 5.

What we're watching: How soon we get to see Jenkins. Law wrote that he could be called up to the Twins in September, which means he could be playing for the Saints in St. Paul this summer.
