Check out this true-to-life model of the Monte Carlo restaurant in the North Loop that's made entirely of Lego pieces.
- It's the latest masterpiece by Minneapolis Lego modeler Jeff Esler.
Esler tells Axios he finished this creation within the last two weeks.
Flashback: In 2017, the Star Tribune profiled Esler — an IT professional by trade — after he built a 1,000-piece recreation of the former Nye's Polonaise Room (RIP).
- He went on to build Lego models of Gluek's, Matt's Bar, Nokomis Beach Coffee, Split Rock Lighthouse and a Frank Lloyd Wright gas station.
