Restaurant roundup: Slice Pizza gets sued, Union Hmong Kitchen leaves North Loop

• Meanwhile, Mall of America is suing Slice over more than $111,000 in unpaid back rent for its food court location, which opened just over a year ago, per court documents reported by Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal.

👋 Union Hmong Kitchen is vacating Graze Provisions + Libations at the end of the month.

• The restaurant, which has since opened a stand-alone location in Uptown, chose not to renew its lease in the North Loop food hall, according to the Star Tribune.

☕️ A combination cafe/leather shop is coming to Uptown next month. Twin Cities Leather is teaming up with Umbra Arts to open the artists collective on Nov. 8, with a coffee shop to follow in early December, per social media.

🍞 Toastique, a "gourmet toast and juice bar" is opening in downtown Wayzata next month, the Minnesota Star Tribune reports. It will be the national chain's first Minnesota location.

🥐 French-Asian bakery Tous les Jours has expanded to the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes in Maple Grove, per its social media. Expect a mix of French pastries and Asian desserts including red bean buns and taro cream bread.

🥞 Berry Sweet Kitchen, the breakfast restaurant that opened near Lake Nokomis in 2013, just debuted a second shop in Apple Valley.
