Bargain bites: We tried Ama Sushi in Edina

Finding a bargain lunch anywhere is hard these days, but especially so in Edina.
Dig in: We discovered a gem in Ama Sushi at 50th and France. It opened in 2021, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a place with a better combination of affordability and quality.
What to expect: I ordered the lunch special — two sushi rolls for $9.95. There are 40 choices, but I picked the spicy tuna and tuna avocado. There's an option to add a third for $3.
The vibe: Cozy, warm and well-decorated. The service was quick and excellent as well.
Zoom out: It's not just the lunch special menu that has the deals. There's a generous sushi bucket for $42.95 and happy hour specials from 2pm to 5pm daily.
Nick's thought bubble: As a sushi addict, I can't afford not to go back to this place. The prices are lower than grocery store rolls.
