Minnesotans racked up medals in the 2024 Paralympic Games

🥇 State of the podium: Here's a look at some of the locals who placed:

🏊‍♀️ Mallory Weggemann of Eagan won gold in the SM7 women's 200-meter individual medley and silver in the 500-meter butterfly S7.

• The four-time paralympian now has four gold medals.

🏊‍♀️ Natalie Sims of Edina snagged a bronze as a member of the mixed 4x100-meter freestyle relay.

🏉 Minneapolis native Chuck Aoki helped the men's wheelchair rugby team bring home a silver.

• The three-time medalist is now Team USA's most-decorated wheelchair rugby athlete, per MPR News.

🏀 USA's women's wheelchair basketball team, which counts Edina's Josie Aslakson, Savage's Abby Bauleke, and Elysian's Rose Hollermann as members, scored a silver in yesterday's final match.

🏐 Waseca's Lexi Shifflett-Patterson won gold as a member of the sitting volleyball team.

🏓 Ian Seidenfeld of Lakeville took bronze in Para Table Tennis.

🚣 Skylar Dahl, a graduate of Minneapolis' Centennial High, was part of a U.S. mixed cox four crew team that won silver.
