Fruity, sweet flavors fuel Minnesota State Fair's new drink list

Fairgoers can raise a glass to 63 new speciality beverages on tap for this year's Great Minnesota Get-Together.
The big flavors: Lots of fruit β about two-thirds of the featured beverages' tasting notes invoke the juicy food group β and drinks incorporating sweet treats ranging from s'mores to Tutti Frutti gum.

π¦ Attack of the Quack, a "purple punch-inspired kettle sour" from Surly Brewing Company that comes with a Viking rubber ducky. Available at the Hideaway Speakeasy.
π Watermelon Hard Candy Seltzer, a sippable "throwback to the bike-riding days visiting the corner convenience store" from Bent Brewstillery. Available at Dino's Gyro.
π Mustard Stain IPA, a "full-bodied, hop-forward session IPA" spiced with mustard seeds from Spiral Brewery. Available at Aldo's Burgers, Sabino's Pizza Pies, Snack House, and Swine & Spuds.
π·π₯ Popping Good Wine, a blend of red and white sparkling wine "enhanced with a surprising popping candy twist" from Cannon River Winery. Available at Coasters.
π Chocobananas Wheat Ale, a "drinkable twist on the classic dessert duo" from The Freehouse. Available at The Blue Barn.
πΆοΈ Frozen Spicy Pineapple Margarita, with tequila, habanero bitters, and TajΓn from Lift Bridge Brewing. Available at Cafe Caribe.
Plus: The Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild will feature a rotating selection of alcohol-free craft beer, cider, and seltzers.
