The intrigue: The temperature rises for Carmy (Jeremy Allen White), Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) and Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they experience their new reality of keeping a fine dining establishment in business.
Behind the scenes: Edebiri — who won a Golden Globe and an Emmy for her role — directed the sixth episode of this season.
- "I was kind of like, [directing] is maybe the best job in the world? Or tied for first place, at least, with acting," she told reporters at a press conference.
