PWHL Minnesota is looking to end its inaugural season as the new women's hockey league's first-ever championship team.

State of play: Minnesota faces Boston tonight in Game 5 of the Walter Cup finals.

The big picture: The team debuted to a passionate fanbase in Minnesota, with a record-setting crowd packing Xcel Energy Center for January's home opener.

  • 13,104 showed up in St. Paul on Sunday.

What's next: Win or lose, the team is expected to get an actual name this August.
