Looking to stretch your legs before your stomach on Thanksgiving? Lace up for a "Turkey Trot!"

  • Here are some options scheduled across the metro:

Turkey Trot St. Paul: A forest green tech tee is included with registration for the 6K and 10K routes along the riverfront.

Chanhassen Turkey Trot: Doughnuts from A Baker's Wife await you at the finish line. Run, don't walk, to sign up!

Cranberry Cruise: The 10K Drumstick Dash and 3.14-mile Pi Run are at capacity, but spots are still available for the 1-mile version of the annual race at Lake Harriet.

River Valley Athletic Club Turkey Trot 5K: Proceeds for this Stillwater run benefit the nonprofit Valley Outreach. Leashed dogs welcome.

Urban Trail Series' Turkey Day Trail Trot: Fans of trail running will love this race at Battle Creek Regional Park in Maplewood. Take your pick between a 5K or 10K course.

Editor's note: This story has been updated to reflect that Life Time has canceled its Turkey Trot race and to add a new listing from Urban Trail Series.
