Craving New York-style pizza? Make Slice your next stop

I recently stopped by Slice, a Black-owned pizzeria that just opened in Northeast Minneapolis.

  • The small takeout and delivery spot serves New York-style pizza by the slice or pie.

My order: Pineapple chicken (pineapple belongs on pizza!). I drove back for a slice of pepperoni.

My review: 10/10! Hot out of the oven, good size, great sauce-to-cheese ratio and reasonably priced at $3.50 a slice.

  • No clue if it's actually New York-style. NY transplants: Give it a try and let us know!

Tip: Follow Slice's Instagram and Facebook for updates. (Googling "Slice pizza Minneapolis" proved quite the challenge.)

Visit: 519 E Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis. Open Tuesday-Thursday, 12-8pm; Friday-Saturday, 12-10pm.
