Where to find Minnesota State Fair food outside the grounds

Pronto Pups and Tom Thumb Donuts may be nearly impossible to find outside of the Minnesota State Fair, but there are plenty of spots serving other fair favorites throughout the Twin Cities.
Here's a quick list of our discoveries:
- Get anything and everything on a stick at Potluck food hall in Rosedale Center. Fair-themed foods β including deep-fried burgers, mini banana bread biscuits and deep-fried mac & cheese balls with smoked pork β are available through Sept. 6.
- Fair staple Sweet Martha's cookies have been spotted at Kowalski's, Cub Foods and Hy-Vee stores around the metro. (Check the frozen section for some dough to bake yourself.)
- The Taste of the Midtown Global Market booth's elote (Mexican street corn), tacos, agua de horchata and esquites (corn in a cup) are all available at its south Minneapolis location.
- Spinning Wylde, a new addition to the fair this year, has over 30 flavors of cotton candy available for pickup in St. Paul. All are dye-free and made with organic cane sugar.
Unfortunately, the all-you-can-drink milk stand is irreplaceable.
