Sweet Martha's Cookie Jar is not only the most popular vendor at the Minnesota State Fair, it also makes more money than the next four largest food vendors combined.
By the numbers: Sweet Martha's did just over $5 million in sales at the 2019 fair, according to revenue figures released to Axios by fair officials.
- Mouth Trap Cheese Curds finished a distant second, with nearly $1.5 million in sales.
The bottom line: Sweet Martha's, which sells only cookies and milk, generated more revenue in 12 days than the average Olive Garden restaurant does in an entire year, according to FSR Magazine.
